Communicating Science is taught by Raymond and Edith Boxman. Ray provides most of the lectures. Edith lectures on English grammar and usage and business plans, and corrects the homework exercise. They have collaborated in presenting scientific writing short courses and tutorials for the past two decades, and together wrote the text book Communicating Science: a practical guide for engineers and physical scientists.
Ray and Edith have been married since 1972, and have four adult children and 7 grandchildren. In their "spare time", they enjoy gardening, hiking, swimming, tennis, bicycling, and Israeli folk dancing.
